Talc just sucks out all the moisture out of my skin (same with Charlotte Tilbury airbrush powder). LM is talc based and I think that's my main issue with it. But the powder itself is very good, and as well as Hourglass - talc free. Downside - it's hella overpriced, the applicator is useless, I needed to buy an extra empty powder case to be able to use it. It is tinted (I use shade medium, am nc20/25 light neutral skin tone), blurs, lasts (it's waterproof), makes the skin look amazing and has some added sun protection. That one I use for everyday, over my tinted Bioderma spf, which needs some shine control and "setting". As for my favourite all around powder - it's Colorescience Sunforgettable spf 50. I would say the only thing LM is better at, is the "blurring" effect, but since I am not too obsessive about my pores, that certainly isn't a good enough reason for me to continue using it. In comparison, Hourglass doesn't do any of that, but it also isn't as matte, doesn't look as "powdery" on the skin, leaves some natural sheen. This was especially unflattering on my under eyes, but it also emphasised fine lines on my forehead and around my mouth. But after about 30 min, I would start noticing my skin looked overly dried out. When I used LM, the initial appearance was nice, blurred and VERY matte. So I am not looking for a true setting powder, but something to mattify on selected areas of my face (under eyes, t-zone, chin) or all over, if I am wearing a very shiny spf. I have dry skin, I don't get very oily throughout the day, I usually don't have issues with makeup not lasting well on my skin. I really love the natural-looking matte finish and the full coverage it gives enough to hide my really bad dark circles. Hence in comparison to the Hourglass concealer, still falls short to my Cle de peau concealer even though the latter is double the price. It also creases far less and does not accentuate fine lines as much the Hourglass one. The Cle de Peau is a bit creamier, less heavy on the skin, and does not tug as much. The finish, texture and staying powder is very similar and I would not be able to tell them apart except for some minor differences in how they feel. This concealer feels very similar to my Cle de peau concealer, which I love very much and it’s one of my HG concealer. It stays for 6-7 hours before I notice slight fading and it does maintain its shine free finish without any need for touchups. Staying Power: Staying power is really good.
